Cor Jesu students act as apostles during the First-Friday liturgies.

The Heart of Faith

Vibrant, Catholic faith surrounds the Cor Jesu community, as students and faculty alike come together to witness and experience Christ’s love. Taught in the Sacred Heart of Jesus’ charism and tradition for academic excellence, Cor Jesu students discover the tools needed to live a life of faith, love and service.

At Cor Jesu, the Apostles of the Sacred Heart act as faculty, teachers, and counselors. Here, a Sister helps a student in the Student Learning Center.

Guiding Hearts

Much of our faith identity stems from our eight Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, who live and work on campus and pour love and support into each and every student.

Devoted Prayer

Each day at Cor Jesu begins and ends with thoughtful prayer as students develop a routine dialogue with God and create an open door from which they may explore their faith journey.

The Cor Jesu mosaic welcomes you as you enter campus. It reads "Cor Jesu Academy. Sharing the Love of the Heart of Christ."

Theology Study

Cor Jesu’s Theology Department guides students through the teachings of Christ and the traditions of the Catholic faith, giving them the strength to live as insightful, impassioned Christians.

Cor Jesu's First-Friday liturgies are an opportunity for the whole school to attend mass and celebrate.

First Friday Liturgies

In the tradition of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the 12 Promises of the Sacred Heart of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, all-school liturgies are celebrated on the first Friday of every month and are open to parents, alumnae and friends.

Vibrant Ministry

A student-led Campus Ministry energizes and spreads the faith of our Cor Jesu community. In our halls and in our community, Campus Ministry identifies ways our students may embody our Catholic identity and help us Share the Love of the Heart of Christ.
